The workshop has been running at full speed these past few weeks! Here is a big batch of new features, designed for everyone who keeps Krosmaster alive around a table.
New: the Tools section
A new menu appears right next to Resources: Tools, free apps to prepare and play your games, on computer as well as on phone.
The profile card editor
THIS is the new feature I'm proudest of: you can now create your own Krosmaster profile card, right in your browser, in the style of the 4.x cards.
- Start from scratch or from an existing card (original version or 4.2), and change everything: name, stats, traits, spells, powers, legend, story...
- Choose your figure from the library or import your own artwork, then place it by dragging it on the card.
- A live preview, plus suggestions to write common effects and powers, game icons included.
- Download your card as an image in one click.
Once logged in, you can save your cards to your account (My custom cards), print them yourself as PDFs, or... order them from the shop! I print them in high definition, with the original fonts of the cards, and you can even attach your own artwork for the back. Bonus: the more different cards you order, the cheaper each one is to create.
The line of sight calculator
"Can you see me from there?" No more long debates around the board: the line of sight calculator shows you at a glance which cells you can target.
- Every Krosmaster Arena map, with its scenery already in place, or a blank map to set up yourself.
- The special rules of each map are taken into account: lava, water, fog, impassable scenery or scenery you can climb onto...
- Place your character, your allies and your enemies, set your spell's range (in line, no line of sight, modifiable range...) and aim: the line appears, along with whatever blocks it.
- Share a situation with a simple link: handy for settling a rules question!
The dice roller
Left your dice at home? The dice roller replaces your Krosmaster dice.
- Tension, attack, lock and dodge, heads or tails... with your odds of success shown before each roll.
- From 2 to 4 players, each with their own dice color, and even the dice cards from the 4.x rules. A free mode is also there to roll a few dice without any fuss.
- And above all, at the end of the game, the statistics: who was really lucky? No more "I never get critical hits" without proof!
What's new in Resources
Summon cards
The summon cards join the profile cards, in their original version and in version 4.2. Filter, sort, print your selection as a PDF... And every profile card now shows its character's summons (and vice versa).
Maps
Every map in the game now has its own page in Resources: Krosmaster Arena, Krosmaster Blast and minimaps, each with its artwork in full size, its special rules and the scenery to place. In the shop, each map edition links to its sides.
4.2 coming soon in English and Italian
The translation of the 4.2 cards into English and Italian is being finalized. Just a little more patience: English- and Italian-speaking players will soon be able to enjoy the version balanced by the French-speaking Community too!
Bonus: a dark mode
For tired eyes after a long evening of gaming (or of sorting your collection), the site now has a dark mode: a little sun / moon switch at the top of every page, and your choice is kept for your next visits.
